How to Use Zoom, Pan, Snap and Gridlines in the Flowchart View

To open the Flowchart view, click on the
first link in the Getting Started view.

Or, select the Flowchart / Structure command from the Storyboarder Pro menu.

To zoom the Flowchart view, you can do any of the following:

To fit the view content to its current window size, click the the
Zoom to Fit button on the view's toolbar.

To set a particular zoom factor, type or select it in the Zoom dropdown list on the view's toolbar.

To zoom in and zoom out, roll the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard.
Or, right-click in the view and select the Zoom in or Zoom out commands from the context menu.

To pan the Flowchart view, you can do any of the following:

To toggle pan mode on and off, click the
Pan Mode button on the view's toolbar.

Or, simply hit the Space key on the keyboard to begin panning and hold it down until you are done.

To reset pan to origin, i.e. to align the view to the left top corner of its content, click the
Reset Pan to Origin button on the view's toolbar.

To toggle the gridlines on and off, click the
Show Grid button on the view's toolbar.

To toggle screen item auto-snapping on and off, click the
Snap to Grid button on the view's toolbar.
