When you design an e-learning product, you may want to sketch a plan, present it to your customers/SMEs for review and write it down in detail for your development team. Storyboarder Pro helps you do any and all of these tasks in a single application.

You can draw branching flowcharts of what goes after what, outline each screen with a visual layout template (customizable), and elaborate each graphic, narrative and interactive element by filling in storyboard template tables (customizable).

Storyboarder Pro integrates into Microsoft Word (2003 or later) and enables it do all the cool things, while the resulting storyboards remain regular Word documents that can be opened and edited on any computer.

In the new Storyboarder Pro update you can now drag and drop items in Structure and Template Manager trees, much like you move files and folders in Windows Explorer. The insertion mark indicates where the dragged item will be dropped, as shown on the screenshots below. To copy an item, hold down the Ctrl key while dragging.



You can request a feature, completely free by submitting to our online support. The drag and drop feature has been requested by users and now here it is.

The new update of Storyboarder Pro now supports both Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Word 2003.

The program works identically with the both versions of Word, except that the location of the Storyboarder Pro menu and the Storyboarder Pro Editor toolbar has changed, because in Word 2007 the usual toolbar is replaced with what Microsoft calls the "ribbon". You'll find Storyboarder Pro menu and toolbar on the Add-Ins tab of the ribbon, see the screenshot below (highlighted with orange).

Also in this update there are some minor tweaks and bug fixes, so it's recommended for all users, both Word 2003 and Word 2007, to download and install the Storyboarder Pro update.

I've found lately that not all people mean the same thing when they look for "storyboard template". I'd like to give you what you want, but I need to know

What is a storyboard template, in your definition?

Storyboard template is a form-like table where you write down all information related to a particular course screen or its element.
